mid month updates from the studio
Hello dear ones,
I hope you’re all well and keeping cool in this summer heat, I know I am.
We’re in the middle of a heatwave here in Greece as I write this, but that hasn’t stopped me from making progress on my creative goals for this month. If anything, just the opposite has occured.
With June came a burst of creative energy, and I’ve been taking full advantage of it. I’ve been feeling very much like a busy bee building my hive, the hive being the growing body of work taking up more and more space around me.
I wish I could bottle up this feeling and save it for times when I don’t feel so inspired and driven, but I know everything runs in cycles and seasons, so all I can do is enjoy it while it lasts.
June has been a month of exploration for me. I’m trying things I’ve never done before like bookmark making and cross stitching on paper and journal covers.
It’s a detour from what I usual do, but it’s been so much fun teaching myself new skills and trying different things.
